Tonya King serves as Adserve Department Manager for Chicago Title’s National Commercial Services (NCS) operation located in Dallas, Texas. She began her career in the title industry in 1994 as a receptionist in a residential office knowing nothing about the business; however, she quickly realized title insurance and real estate were in her blood, so she made a long-term commitment to a career in the industry. After promotions to escrow assistant and residential closer, Tonya later transferred to the commercial department. Today, she manages the Dallas Commercial Administrative Services Department, which has grown to a team of six and evolved to serve as the nucleus of the commercial department by facilitating each transaction from origination of the title order, preparation and distribution of the title binder to each closing team, issuance of the title policies, down date endorsements, modification endorsements, tending to various customer service requests, follow-up on release of liens, handling money in escrow, and assisting with preparation and distribution of the final closing package to our customers. Additionally, the department serves as the training ground for most escrow assistants who have moved on to become commercial escrow assistants and closers.
